According to a businessman named Tonye Cole, he witnesses a little misunderstanding that involves renowned writer and Nobel laureate winner, Professor Wole Soyinka and a young Nigerian man.
Tonye Cole explained that Profesor Soyinka sat at the window seat, which initially belonged to the young Man, and when the young Man arrived, he told the Professor to leave his seat.
Despite the pleas and interventions of crew members and other passengers, the Man insisted he will be sitting on the seat he was given.
The Professor gently moved away from the seat and took the seat that was initially his beside the young Man.
In his final reaction, Mr. Cole explained that our youths of today no longer have respect for elders, and it is very pitiful.
In his comments, Ms. Mo Abudu and Kate Henshaw agreed with him that the young Man was mannerless and lacked good behaviors.
While others have been abusing the Man online, some believe that the young Man was right to stay on his right, especially if he approached the Professor in the right way.
What do you think? Is the young man right to stand on his right or he should have excused the Professor and took a new seat?
