Ubah emerges first senator-elect for YPP, beats Uba of APC

Chief Ifeanyi Ubah has become the first elected senator on the platform of the Young Progressives Party (YPP).

Ubah polled a wide margin winning of 87,081 over the APC candidate, Chris Uba who scored 13,245 – The senator-elect also will be representing Anambra south in the Senate Chief Ifeanyi Ubah, the chairman of Capital Oil and Gas, has emerged the first elected senator for the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in Nigeria.

Ubah polled a total of 87,081 votes to emerge winner of the Anambra south senatorial district after Saturday, February 23, election results announced early Monday, February 25, morning at Uruagu Nnewi north council headquarters, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
