Senator Melaye reacts to victory in Kogi West senatorial election

Senator Din Melaye has reacted to winning Kogi West senatorial seat.

Senator Melaye won the mandate again having polled 85, 395 votes to defeat Senator Smart Adeyemi of All Progressives Congress, who got 66, 901 votes. INEC returning officer, Professor Emmanuel Bala, had also announced in the early hours of Monday, February 25, in Lokoja that Adeyemi polled 66, 901 votes to concede defeat to the incumbent senator.
