Presidency isn’t trying to sack Magu – EFCC refutes claims

The EFCC’s has responded to claims that the presidency is planning to sack its acting boss, Ibrahim Magu – The anti-graft agency’s acting head of media and publicity, Tony Orilade, described such claims both as false and unfounded.

Orilade said that Magu is focused on the fight against corruption in the country and that he is loved by all who are upright in Nigeria The acting head of media and publicity of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Tony Orilade, says media reports on fresh moves to remove Ibrahim Magu, the agency’s boss by the presidency is unfounded.

Olupohunda Orilade said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Sunday, January 13, as he was reacting to a report that the Presidency planned to remove Ibrahim Magu, the commisaion’s Acting Chairman.
