Governor Nasir El-Rufai reportedly said that any foreigner that wants to influence the general elections will be rejected.
El-Rufai said any “foreign power” that attempts to intervene in the electoral exercise would return to their country in body bags. The governor also said the country will not bow to the pressure of foreign influence.
The governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai, reportedly said any “foreign power” that tries to intervene in the forthcoming general elections would go back to their country in body bags. The governor said this on an NTA live programme on Tuesday, February 5, as he also said the country will never be dominated by any foreign influence, The Cable reports.
He said: “Those that are calling for anyone to come and intervene in Nigeria, we are waiting for the person that would come and intervene, they would go back in body bags.”
